Playgroup and Preparatory pupils however are advised to carry extra clothing for changes when necessary. All pupils are to wear their sportswear on Fridays.
TEXT BOOKS
Students are to come to the school with the recommended textbooks. Parents should contact our Head of Admin (HA), Mrs. Aisha Olatunji on phone/WhatsApp +234(0)706-659-5311 for purchase of the recommended textbooks. The school is responsible for providing stationery as needed, to all the students being part of the school fees.
PAYMENT
Our policy of school fee payment is ‘no full payment, no exams’! We request school fees to be paid timely to avoid any disruption in the education of your child(ren). A timely payment helps the school to meet its financial commitments to our teachers at the end of every month, and also ensure a smooth operation of the school.
LUNCH
Students are to bring their home lunch and drinking water as provided for them by the parents. The school provides water from a borehole for other needs excluding than drinking.
LIBRARY BOOKS
Our students are permitted to take library books home. Parents are encouraged to read the books with their children, and help with the vocabulary words. However, these books should be handled with care. Lost or damaged books shall be paid for by the parents of such student.
REPORTS AND ASSESSMENT
At the Greensrich School, we keep a continuous record of the child’s progress, which is sent home once per term (at the closing of the term). An Open Day is held once per term, which provides the opportunity for the class teacher and parents to discuss the progress of the child. Parents are welcome at any time during the school hours to discuss their children, but they would however first need to contact the administration office to arrange a meeting.
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENTS
The Greensrich School is not affiliated with any religion or faith; we accept children of different faiths. We want our pupils to develop a sense of tolerance, good neighbourliness, and acceptance of others based on the content of their character rather because of their choice of religion. However, we teach Christian Religious Studies and Arabic/Islamic Religious knowledge as subjects of choice.
These teachings are complemented with sound moral and citizenship education, as the overall purpose is to raise students of good character.
During the daily assembly, we pray in the name of Alnighty, the Creator of all wrolds, forgoing any terminology exclusive to any religious setting. We welcome a diversity of people and faiths, and we want our pupils to be tolerant of others and appreciate people for their goodness and character rather than for their religious affiliation.
